Most businesses do not have a software problem

They have a reconciliation problem. A till that knows one number, a stock sheet that knows another, and an accountant working from a third — with somebody's whole week spent making the three agree before anyone can make a decision.

TopERM exists to remove that week. One ledger, one identity model, one set of tax rules, and applications that post into them directly rather than exporting to each other overnight.

Built against real work

Carventory was written alongside a working Japanese-import dealership, on the problems that showed up on its forecourt. The cost chain matches what happens to a car because it was drawn from one.

Accounting is not a report

Every module posts to a real double-entry ledger as it happens. The statement a bookkeeper opens is the same data the counter created, not a monthly export that has to be reconciled.

Configuration, not custom code

Approval chains, dimensions and document flows are data, not a consultant's branch. That is what lets your rules survive an upgrade instead of blocking it.

Who we build with

A showroom, not a focus group

HISPEED Car Sales

HISPEED Car Sales source used vehicles directly from Japanese auctions and sell them across the East Midlands. Carventory was built alongside that operation, which is why the cost chain follows a car from the auction hammer through freight, duty, import VAT and clearing to an MOT, a speedometer conversion and a DVLA registration — rather than treating it as a line of stock.

Where this goes

One platform, a growing family of applications

Two applications share the platform today: TopOnePOS for the counter and the stockroom, and Carventory for showrooms that import. Each is a serious product on its own. What makes them worth running together is that switching one on does not create a second set of books.

We would rather earn the next module than announce it. If your trade has a costing problem nobody has modelled properly — the way importing a car was one — tell us about it.

Put the whole business on one platform

Start with one branch and one module. Add the rest when it earns its place — nothing has to be migrated twice.
